Overdraft Priviledge

Bank of the Lakes is pleased to provide Overdraft Priviledge. If you have ever made a mistake in your checking account, or written a check for more money than the available balance in your account, you are aware of the expense and problems associated with inadvertent overdrafts. We want to help you avoid these situations.

With Overdraft Priviledge, rather than automatically returning any non-sufficient fund items that you may have, we will consider, without obligation on our part, payment of your reasonable overdraft, as long as you maintain your account in good standing.

Overdraft Priviledge Can Mean:

• Payment of overdrafts up to $800 will be considered on eligible personal checking accounts and $1,500 on eligible business accounts.
• Fewer charges from retailers for returned checks
• Overdraft Priviledge is available for ATM withdrawals and Visa CheckCard Purchases
• Overdraft Priviledge is available for Internet banking and telephone banking transactions

Our normal non-sufficient or overdraft charges will apply to each item that would create an overdraft on your account. We will send a notice each time an overdraft occurs.
